Cairnton is situated just a short drive away from the village of Mintlaw where there are a host of local amenities available including, primary and secondary schools, health centre, local shops, garden centre and café and Aden Country Park. A local bus service runs from Mintlaw to Ellon, Aberdeen, Peterhead & Fraserburgh.
