LOCATION
The property is situated approximately 2 miles from the Village of Kennethmont with local amenities and Primary schooling. The B9002 road runs through Kennethmont, connecting to Insch to the east, and to the A97 road between Huntly and Alford to the west. Kennethmont is only approximately 5 miles from the Town of Insch with railway station and approx. 8.5 miles from the town of Huntly which has an excellent range of shops, recreational facilities, and local services. Secondary Schooling at The Gordon School, Huntly. The City of Aberdeen and Dyce Airport is within commuting distance and the Aberdeen to Inverness railway runs through Kennethmont, but there is no station. There are several notable buildings in the area which include Leith Hall which is a country house built in 1650 and maintained by the National Trust for Scotland and Ardmore Distillery which is a single malt distillery located to the east of the village.
DIRECTIONS
Driving south from Huntly on the A97 go past Gartly and then turn left onto the B9002 heading towards Kennethmont. Immediately after crossing the railway bridge turn left onto the private track. This track is a farm track and is quite steep in places. Go along this track and up the slope. The track leads through the farmyard of Hewitts of Kennethmont. Izzy Inn is the second property after going through the farmyard.
